The future is bright, and extremely tech savvy.
Research shows 32,000 new clinicians – who are highly accustomed to interactive digital experiences – enter the U.S. workforce each year. In 2019 alone, medical school applications were up 30% year-on-year.
Technology in the healthcare space needs to keep up with this generational shift. Or better still, get ahead.
A user interface (UI) like no other.
Tersus is a transformational EHR application. We have replaced the traditional, siloed tabular-style UI with simple, interactive “Maps” tracing condition pathways plotted against a timeline.
Tersus provides a comprehensive overview of a patient’s entire medical story in 30 secs and with zero clicks.
Components
“Patient Stories” are an overall patient view that graphically represents the patient’s medical history. Patient Stories can visually summarize incredibly complex clinical cases quickly and in rich detail.
“Maps” are the primary components of a Patient Story. Maps concisely illustrate the lifetime of a condition as well as inter-related events.
“Events” (nodes with customizable icons or initials) are plotted by date on the condition Maps and with a single click can be previewed or expanded for a drill-down into comprehensive details.
Key benefits
Intuitive UI: Physician-centered user experience (UX) designed to require a short learning curve. It may look unusual at first glance but our physician advisors found it easy to pick up.
AI powered: Displays only the relevant data at the point of care. Physicians no longer need to spend time fishing for information in multiple tabs.
Haptic learning: Interactive design improves acquisition and retention of a patient’s full medical and social story. This helps improve patient-physician interactions.

Tersus Patient Graph platform
Data organization: Graph technology-powered mapping generation between encounters, conditions, tests, medications, family history, and so on...
Noise Reduction: Algorithm eliminates data duplication for a more streamlined user experience.
Knowledge graph enrichment: Augment patient records with external medical reference/ontology databases.
Machine learning: AI and graph analytics applied to patient histories improves the quality of data over time.
Secure & FHIR Standard interoperable:
HIPAA compliant
Ability to launch Tersus from inside or outside any FHIR-certified EHR
Natural Language Query & Answer (NLQA) system
Data interaction: Replace time-consuming search functions to support a more fluid workflow and faster information acquisition.
More than just Natural Language Processing (NLP): Ability to answer complex queries from structured and unstructured data sources (patient records, clinical notes, etc.)
Smart surfacing: Eliminate “data fishing” by presenting only the relevant and related information. Our UI then highlights the most critical data surfaced so the physician’s eye is quickly drawn to the pertinent information.
